I'm mostly inspired by my crafts I've made (just because I document them to Ravelry as well), the wonderful Finnish nature and all the four seasons we have, documenting some special occasions in my personal life, and often also for having fun and experimenting, toying with my camera. In the past I have even loaned Mum's Canon EOS 550D, but these days I don't use that anymore as it's quite a heavy camera for me. These days I mainly use my smartphone cam for taking photos (Samsung Galaxy XCover at the moment), mainly due to my disability because smartphones are easy to carry around and one doesn't need a tripod for those (poor standing balance means often wobbly photos!), but occasionally I have also used my Canon Powershot SX40 HS superzoom. ![]() In addition to all those hobbies, I take photos every now and then, with Mum assisting me from time to time because of my Spina Bifida (which affects my mobility and standing balance) and because Mum has taken one basic course on photography and is therefore my main source for help and advice when it comes to cameras and taking photos. I'm a person mad about crafts (knitting mainly these days but also occasionally cross-stitching and quilling), music, nature, Celtic culture/cultural history/languages/mythology, cycling (not in winter) and much more, which all can be seen on my photostream for sure! I'm Suvi from Finland, a 43-years-old woman from city of Oulu, Finland.
